"We called him "Little Ahmed", because he was the youngest of the team of a choreographic work we did (Phoenix, 2018). The 12 February 2024, the youngest of the team was killed under Israeli bombs in a Rafah refugee's camp. Ahmed was a dancer : in this video, you can follow him and his friends flying among the ruins of Gaza, as it was seven years ago. No need to play with words, when tens of thousands of Gazans are displaced then killed, when Gaza infrastructures are erased, in the frame of a colonial project processing for decades. Families lost peoples, lost their homes, their works, and are currently starving in tents. Waiting for the world stand for a ceasefire, as the requisite to save human lives. Thanks to all of those who, at his.her own level, act or write to support their right for life. Ahmed’s one will remain in our hearts."
